Hi Szi Szi- I do believe that the video gives a better reflection of the true color of these shirts. The chambray blue color is a very pretty, vibrant mid to light blue color. The color looks rich compared to other washed out chambrays that I have seen in the market. The Black rinse is very dark but it does have a navy cast in certain lights. It looks closer to black than it does to denim. I truly hope this answers your questions as it is hard to describe the nuance of color in words:). If not, please feel free to contact us again! Kelly

Also--the Black rinse looks darker in the video--but lighter in the photo to order as a Navy---which is the truer color? I like the way these tops look in the video with real light vs. fashion super-bright light--which often washes out the color of things to look lighter than they really are.

Hi Kelly--great Bella Dahl tops on Joyus--I am waiting to see if you get the dark rinse color in again--do you know if and when that will be happening?

Also--I heard someone say--and I was noticing myself--that the lighter colored denim looks a bit darker--and more denim-y, than it does when you go to order it--which is truer--as it looks on you in the video or in the photo for order? I like the way it looks on you in the video--with a bit more depth of color.
